CALL FOR NOMINATIONS!

The Los Angeles County Medical Association is holding its 148th Annual Election this coming June.  Active members of LACMA and CMA have the privilege of voting for their preferred candidates.  At the end of May, you can expect to receive a voting ballot via email and you will be able to cast your vote online.  Please be sure to keep an eye out for your ballot and submit your vote.

The following positions are open on the LACMA Board of Directors:

OFFICERS

(Eligibility: Active member for 5 consecutive years by July 1 of the election year; 1 year term)

  • Secretary

COUNCILOR-AT-LARGE (3 vacancies) 

(Eligibility: Active member; 3 year term)

DISTRICT COUNCILORS 

(Eligibility: Active member and member of the district; 3 year term)

  • District 2 Councilor (Pasadena/San Gabriel Valley/Glendale)
  • District 6 Councilor (West San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Valley)
  • District 17 Councilor (East San Fernando Valley/Antelope Valley)

RESIDENT/FELLOW COUNCILOR AND ALTERNATE RESIDENT/FELLOW COUNCILOR 

(Eligibility: Resident/fellow member; 1 year term)

MEDICAL STUDENT COUNCILOR AND ALTERNATE MEDICAL STUDENT COUNCILOR 

(Eligibility: Medical student member enrolled in medical school; 1 year term)

CMA TRUSTEE (2 Vacancies)

(Eligibility: Active member status)

CMA DELEGATES / ALTERNATE DELEGATES 

(Eligibility: Active or resident member)

  • District 1 (Metropolitan): 2 Delegate vacancies; 2 Alternate Delegate vacancies
  • District 2 (Pasadena/San Gabriel Valley/Glendale): 2 Delegate vacancies; 2 Alternate Delegate vacancies
  • District 3 (Long Beach): 1 Delegate vacancy; 2 Alternate Delegate vacancies
  • District 5 (Bay): 2 Delegate vacancies; 2 Alternate Delegate vacancies
  • District 6 (West San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Valley): 3 Delegate vacancies, 4 Alternate Delegate vacancies
  • District 7 (Beverly Hills): 2 Alternate Delegate vacancies
  • District 9 (Southwest/South): 1 Delegate vacancy; 1 Alternate Delegate vacancy
  • District 10 (Southeast/East): 1 Alternate Delegate vacancy
  • District 14 (Foothill/Pomona): 2 Alternate Delegate vacancies
